Sunday Experience

On Sundays at Northshore Kids, you will learn about Jesus and get to know a group of kids who will grow in community all year! In this group, with the help of a Life Group Leader and the Bible, kids will walk through the church's mission by PASSIONATELY PURSUING JESUS, RADICALLY LOVING ONE ANOTHER, COMPASSIONATELY SERVING YOUR NEIGHBORS and RELATIONALLY DISCIPLING ALL PEOPLE! Our Northshore Kids Ministry Team believes it is never too early to start!

We love kids of all abilities and encourage them to participate in our ministry! If your child needs one-on-one support, please let us know so we can pair them with a specially trained volunteer from our special needs ministry. For more information, please visit our Special Needs page.

Children's Ministry Director

My husband and I have 2 adult daughters, Emma and Isabella. Homeschooling them were some of the best years of our lives. I have been in Children’s Ministry since 2006, sharing God’s word with the children. I love every minute of it. I love taking walks with my family and my 2 dogs, browsing antique shops, and curling up by the fireplace with a good book and a delicious cup of tea.

Henry Rivas

Pastoral Resident / Children's Ministry Coordinator

Henry Rivas serves as a Pastoral Resident at Northshore, where part of his residency includes serving as the Children's Ministry Coordinator. Henry has been part of the team since 2026 and loves helping kids grow in their relationship with Jesus through engaging, Bible-centered teaching. With a heart for children and families, he is passionate about encouraging the next generation to know and follow Christ. Outside of church, you can find him fishing, hiking, mountain biking, or spending time outdoors with his wife and their dog. He has been married since 2003 and enjoys creating meaningful memories with his family.
