A group of very different men were called to join Jesus on His mission - a journey that would change the world. We are also called to be a body, different people, who unify under Jesus, while maintaining our uniqueness for the mission of Jesus.
The tabernacle was commanded to be a meeting place for God and His people. The journey of the people, through the priest, was atonement, redemptions, adoption = presence with God. This was a foreshadowing of Jesus, our Great High Priest, and His work on the cross so that we could be in His presence. The tabernacle is picture of the Love story of God to His people. We will use the furniture in the tabernacle to tell the Jesus story through the tabernacle.
