• Comfort isn’t GUARANTEED. (Matthew 16:24-25)
• RECONCILIATION is never off the table. (Matthew 18:21-22)
• Real love is a JOURNEY. (Matthew 4:19)
• One who is willing to DEFEND the other.

II. WHO DID JESUS DEFEND?

• His disciples for plucking grain on the Sabbath. (Luke 6:1-5)
• His disciples for not washing their hands.(Matthew 15:1-9)
• The woman caught in adultery. (John 8:1-11)
• Those who were obedient to Him. (John 12:1-7)

III. WHAT IS A TRUE FRIENDSHIP WITH JESUS?

• One of the best examples: Jonathan & David (1 Samuel 18-19)
• Jesus to US (John 15:13)
• Us to JESUS (John 15:14)
