A Volunteer Opportunity For All
We’re heading back to serve with Joni & Friends at the Washington Family Retreat (August 16-21) at Black Lake Bible Camp! Our past volunteers have left changed with a newfound compassion for those in our communities impacted by disabilities. Often referred to by families and volunteers as "a little slice of heaven," this week is designed to create a space to serve families living with disabilities to enjoy a fun, Christ-centered, safe, camp experience.
An informational meeting is on Sunday, January 25 from 12pm in the Main Conference Room. No special skills are needed to volunteer at the camp. Orientation is provided by Joni and Friends. We'll cover the application process, what a typical day as a volunteer looks like, plus the cost and fundraising options. The number of families the camp is able to serve is dependent on the number of volunteers serving. Join us for more information and see where the Lord leads!
